The new Porsche Cayenne GTS combines higher engine output, more dynamic power development and a firmer chassis setup with a lowered body.

During the launch of the Cayenne GTS in Kuala Lumpur, Arnt Bayer, Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Auto Performance said, “The Porsche Cayenne is among the bestsellers in the Porsche’s product range. With the new Cayenne GTS, this makes up a total of 6 variants that are currently available in Malaysia for this second generation luxury SUV which combines sportiness and efficiency, each in their own way.”

The new Porsche Cayenne GTS comes with an upgraded 420hp (309kW) V8 engine from the Cayenne S powerplant.  The engine is mated with an 8-speed Tiptronic S with integrated auto start/stop function. An especially dynamically tuned engine and transmission design reinforces the emphatically sporty characteristics, enabling short bursts of speed at any time. The Cayenne GTS sprints from 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, reaching 160 km/h in 13.3 seconds. The top speed is 261 km/h and the NEDC fuel consumption 10.7 litres per 100 kilometres.

The looks of the Cayenne GTS openly proclaims its pronounced sportiness with eye-catching features such as the front-end borrowed from the Cayenne Turbo, frames and trims in high-gloss black, prominent side skirts and wider wheel arches as well as a distinctive roof spoiler with twin-wing profile. The prevailing ambiance of the interior is sporty elegance, featuring a leather interior with Alcantara elements as standard. Front sport seats with eight adjustment options are also featured as standard in the new Cayenne GTS.

The base price of the new Cayenne GTS starts from RM 800,000 in Peninsular Malaysia which includes a 4-year factory warranty and a 4-year complimentary service and maintenance package. The above prices include all applicable duties and exclude registration fee, road tax and insurance.
