To all guys that anticipating the new Proton model which is based on current model of Mitsubishi Lancer. The new Proton Inspira – four-door sedan will be official launch on 10 November 2010.
Proton Group MD – Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir highlighted during the new Proton Inspira soft-launched that “What Proton did with the Inspira is more than re-badging. It is a product that we worked together with Mitsubishi.” Furthermore, Proton added some additional values to the existing model. He resolute the new Inspira is not rebadging’ but describe it as ‘OEM collaboration’.
According to Syed Zainal, Mitsubishi’s technical experts have indicated that the new Proton Inspira is of better quality than some cars produced at some other plants. Proton is very confident that the Inspira has met all the standards with Mitsubishi and all quality issues have been addressed.
On or after, we highly confident and believe that Proton will be able to obtain a number of overwhelming sales over this new model. Moreover, Proton received 1,100 bookings for its latest Proton Inspira within 10 days after the soft launch. The Inspira is available in 1.8 litre CVT (Continously Variable Transmission) and manual transmission as well as a 2-litre CVT transmission.
