Toyota UMW Malaysia seems to facelifted the vios and it is coming to your showroom near you real soon.The above image which is from Toyota website give us a little tease about the up coming Toyota Vios 2010 Malaysia version.
The most significant change as we will notice is the front grille, a different style of rear lamp and possible a new design of rims.
UMW Toyota Malaysia will make some adjustment to the price of the new facelift vios.

I’ve been waiting since 2009 to get a facelifted Vios. But having looked at the price comparison above , I’m rather disappointed with UMW’s greediness. I’m going for Honda City ! Enuff said !!

I believe Vios will still remain the best-selling car for non-national model in Malaysia, as it did all the while since the 2nd generation was launched in Malaysia.

I was very disappointed recently. I have spoken to the dealer to order TDR sportivo and said to make a preparation. Within one week the dealaers said the price already been gone up. Never informed earlier the price going up.
I was all up ready to buy VIOS 1.5EA/T just now but happiness was shortened when being told that the new facelift Vios has replaced the old ones. And more broken hearted when the new price is up to more than RM2,000. So we adjourned to honda to consider Honda City….and is now thinking…

usually new car does not have promotion unless the sales man willing to squeeze their commission to you..
however, just wait up what UMW toyota can offer..
Do consider check out other alternatives like Mazda 2.
I think the ‘New Vios’ looks great. I am very happy with Toyota and driving a Vios since 2008, no regret and it give’s me good mileage. My previous Wira had to be taken to the service center almost every month and therefore getting Vios is a good decision.

Price increase within 2-6K differ is ok… Dun always put your finger on this small mone y. If 2-3K also cannot affort, dun go for Vios, choose proton la…why??? end up you need to eat ‘Roti’ everyday. What for? For me,what i concern was “Safety” alway s come first! However, any of you drove Vios, can share the inner condition? Recently the news keeping publishing the Break problem. I also taaakut laaaa….
I did some studies of Vios in 2007 before the new Vios (third generation, I think) was about to be arrived in Malaysia. I impressed with the American reviews for Yaris Sedan (= Vios) performance and crash test results. As such, I bought a Vios in late of 2007. Please trust me, no regret. :)
Karen, Vios was not being affected by the recent Toyota Motors recalls worldwide.
I still remembered one of the Toyota founders asked to his audiences during a speech in California in year 2005: “If I would to ask you spending $100 or below to make a good but affordable dinner to your family tonight, what is your strategy? Spending part of the constrained budget good in looking by adding side decorations or focus to the ingredients to make it much delicious? I believe the latter one will make your family members more satisfied”. So there it is… would you choose a good looking car but lack of performance or a good performance car but lack of good looking criteria due to budget constraints? P/S: If you want both, then buy a car >RM100k ;)
Hope that the more expensive version of Vios facelift in April 2010 is improved more than good looking features.

Your vios got problem? Go Toyota Service, let them fix it without any charge if water inside rear lamp.

and i love it very much. Its like a car with computer.
Design is better then the previous(back and front).
The most important its very pickup.

No changes at all since 20 years ago…everyone can see there are no difference compare vios with proton or perodua. I mean the INTERIOR is sxxks! Vios is like Kia Spectra….KOSONG SPEC! Choose honda instead coz the interior is SOLID and it looks more like a CAR!
Not to talk bad about other cars :P Just that VIOS is not worth to buy.

Toyota Vios outlook may not so attractive and sporty.
But in others way, its allow you to add skirting, rear spoiler that you like. Some of the car after adding these accessories even looks nicer than Honda City….

before make the decision to buy a car,i make some research n test drive the CT, VIOS n FORTE…but at last i choose FORTE as a winner bcause very worth to buy it as FORTE have a better spec, comfort n handling…better try first u will know the feeling…don’t look for the brand only..

minyak sangatlah jimat.. 1000km aku dapat 11 sen.. so.. minyak dalam full tank 42 liter (70 ringgit) ,, aku dapat g sampai 700 kilometer.. nak apa lagi.. aku happy skrg.. fuel cunsumption is the best .. macam nk viva dah.. kualiti dan pickup. mmg puas hati.. sa sapa nk kutuk vios ke.. ape ke.. aku xkisah.. janji aku dan vios owner yg lain happy.. hhehehh.. hahahha

Vios is very economical in fuel consumption, VVTI engine is good the way of saving fuel, but the accelerate, it is worse. But for the worst, ITS DESIGN!

i pengguna vios 2009.so far semua ok.tiada yang merunsingkan melainkan masalah2 yang sangat kecil seperti bunyi2 area dashboard.sebab apa?sebab i yang usik2 area sana.haha.jika x,xkan bunyi tapi sangat minor.
honda city or other cars semua pasti ada masalah.jika xnak masalah,beli simpan rumah la.lol.
so far,my review vios is ok.i puas hati.kelajuan pun superb setanding dengan 1.5 lo.so,pada yang nak beli,beli pada yang xnak boleh blah. :p
