Audi has released the first set of (Computer Graphic (CG) enhanced) photos of the A2 Concept bound for next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show. This model will inspire a production version scheduled to go on sale within the next 2 years.

The car is 70mm taller than the current three-door A1 hatchback, the A2 Concept is 18mm shorter at 3,800mm long and 50mm narrower at 1,690mm wide. We believed that Audi will offer the A2 with both electric and conventional engines.
Audi says that the A2 offers “plenty of room for 4 people” thanks in part to the flat interior floorboard, the ultra-thin seats and the absence of a traditional dashboard and lower console.
Anyway, we are expecting more details once the concept car is preview on next week.
