2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid with 150hp and 7-speed DSG
The new 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid recently premiered at 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
It’s the first hybrid model with a 1.4-litre TSI turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 27hp electric motor and 7-speed DSG transmission. The new Jetta hybrid can be switched into pure electric mode at the simple push of just one button. The Jetta Hybrid produces 110kW (150hp) and 184 lb-ft (249Nm) of torque between 1400 rpm and 3500 rpm. The Jetta Hybrid will become available in North America in 2012.
According to Volkswagen, the new Jetta hybrid will be “competitively priced with other compact hybrids”. The Jetta Hybrid may be the first hybrid to use a 7-speed dual-clutch (DSG) transmission, but the way the clutch decouples the engine from the drivetrain when the car is using just the battery for power or coasting is similar to how the Porsche hybrids do it.

Honda Civic Sedan and Si Coupe 2012 for America
Honda Civic Sedan and Civic Si Coupe has make their debut in the North American International Show today, this two models will go on sale in spring which means is around April 2011. While the models is pretty much confirm to be America only model, there will be some inheritance that we would expect to see later from the Japanese version of Honda Civic model.
Honda has a good record in transforming concept cars to production car. We believe these pictures here will be mild differences as compare to those new Civics on the road in coming months. The exterior of the 2012 Honda Civic sedan is similar to the current generation of Civic. Some may think that this is a facelift model. The new front gives a meaner fascia.
As for the back of the new Civic, we see whole lot differences. However the tail light some what looks like ripped of from the first batch of Honda City previous generation.

Honda never fail to give us a futuristic interior, the 2 layer dashboard will be again incorporated but in a more futuristic and stylish manner, the buttons and controls are curve to be more driver oriented.
As for the Honda Civic Si Coupe, it is pretty influence by today’s Accord coupe. Positioned as a more sportier car than the sedan version, the Civic Si has 2 doors. The front lower middle part of bumper differs from the Civic Sedan version. The real deal happens behind of the new Honda Civic coupe, a curvier roof line and a centred exhaust with a diffuser styled rear bumper caught our attention. The rear of the Civic Si Coupe looks much sportier than the sedan Civic.
There will be Honda Civic hybrid version and to increase the range of the electric powered – lithium ion battery cell wil be incorporated as well as the Eco-Assist system will be available in most of the Civic models.
With this launch of the Honda Civic in America, this gives us some clue of how would the Japanese version would be. We predict some what the side body works will be pretty much similar. The upcoming JDM version of Honda Civic will likely incorporate some styling front of the Honda Insight and a different rear styling including the bumper and rear lights as compare to the US version of Honda Civic 2012.
