Nissan launches new X-Gear Facelift. Priced at RM89,800

 Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has unveiled the new Nissan X-Gear facelift in 1 Utama shopping centre. The 5-seater crossover is now refreshed with new and sportier looks for 2014. 

So what’s new? The new X-Gear has new roof rails, chrome grille, 15-inch V-spoke alloy rims, new steering design with audio controls, new Fine Vision meter with Multi Information Display, updated 2-DIN head unit. Fabric seat design is also new enhancement to the cabin. Rear seats are 60:40 split folding that opens up the boot space from 383 litres to 769. New roof rails are able to hold up to 25kg load. 

Powering the X-Gear is the 1.6L HRDE16 engine producing 105PS and 150Nm of torque. Gearbox is a four-speed automatic transmission only. (No manual option). Safety wise, it comes standard with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and BA. The facelifted model now has new front seatbelts  equipped with pre-tensioners and load limiters that meets the latest UNECE safety regulations for frontal and side-impact protection. 

Nissan also offers the Impul complete package for the X-Gear (more details below). X-Gear will be now priced at RM89,800 OTR with insurance which includes 3-year warranty / 100,000km (whichever comes first). Five color options will be available for the X-Gear : Garnet Red, Bronze Gold, Diamond Black, Brilliant White and Tungsten Silver.
