This is the new 2012 Scion TC Release Series (RS) 7.0, comes in an exclusive colour – High Voltage Yellow and a sport black top, side mirror and 18″ wheels. The front which looks like our Toyota Corolla Altis in South East Asia, but whole lot of difference inside.

 

Outside the car, it is fitted with Toyota Racing Development (TRD) five-piece body kit that adds a honeycomb lower grille up front and extensions to the front lip, side sills, and rear valance.  Inside the car, there’s High Voltage yellow trim on the seating surfaces, yellow stitching on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a yellow LED backlight for the Release Series badge. With the limited production of 2,200 units, there will be also and unique numbered badge for each vehicle just like the Honda Civic Type R FD2.

To enhance the gadget of the vehicle, Scion added an integrated a keyless entry system with a red TRD push-start button. The Scion tC RS 7.0 will be price at USD 20,905 and USD 21,905 in today’s exchange rate it’s about RM 63,185.26 and RM 66,207.76. Putting these prices into double, I’m quite sure a number of Malaysian would pay for it.

 

For the In-Car Entertainment, the Scion TC RS 7.0 fitted a Pioneer receiver with HD Radio, iPod/USB connectivity, Bluetooth calling and audio streaming. For the engine, the Scion TC RS 7.0 fitted with a 2.5-litre inline-4 engine that churns 180hp and 173 lb-ft of peak torque. Sadly, Scion vehicles are only available for U.S. market.
