Mazda Launches Biggest Showroom, Mazda BT-50 On Display

Mazda launches it’s largest showroom in South-East Asia to further show its commitment to the Malaysia market. This New multi-million ringgit showroom will in line with Mazda growth in the Malaysian market. The new 3S centre showroom in Glenmarie comprising a massive floor space of 130,000sqf and spread over four floors. It is located exactly beside the existing Mazda sales and service centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

This will be the new home for Mazda Malaysia headquarters. President/CEO of Mazda Motors Corporation, Mr. Takashi Yamanouchi, flew in from Japan to launch this new impressive Mazda showroom.

Mr. Yamanouchi in his speech said, “It is a proud moment for us at Mazda Motors Corporation today too as we applaud the success of Berjaya Corporation, Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd and Prima Merdu Sdn Bhd in further strengthening the brand’s presence in Malaysia with the opening of this new showroom.

 

“We at Mazda, prioritize our customers’ needs and wants. At the same time we do what we do best to offer our customers nothing less than the best and what we have here today is our promise to our customers…the best showroom,” added Yamanouchi.

 

Dato’ Robin Tan said, “With this larger showroom, we are now able to display more cars and this will enable the customers the opportunity to get an actual look and feel of the car of their choice. Our aim is to provide convenience for our customers as this showroom also houses a service centre which can simultaneously service up to 30 cars for greater efficiency.”

The All new Mazda BT-50 was also displayed in the showroom, although there’s no pricing indicated yet. The BT-50 will go on sale with the confirm model of 3.2L engine with in-line 5 cylinder, 20 Valve DOHC, turbo charged that produces 200hp and 470Nm of torque. The BT-50 will enable drivers to have pure driving pleasure and tough truck performance.

The interior styling will look similar like the one found in the Mazda 3. The BT-50 coupled with car-like suspension and responsive handling characteristics the Mazda BT-50 makes a truly capable and tough, yet sporty and stylish pickup that is set to enhance the owner’s lifestyle. Mazda and Bermaz Motor are in talks with more collaboration and a possible joint venture to offer more Mazda vehicles being locally assemble for Malaysians. This means more Mazda cars are coming with a better price. The Mazda CX-5 CKD will be the next model to be locally assembled in 2013 should they confirm the collaboration.
