how to research trends But is the only place you find cashmere wool coat from Kashmir? Not at all, although the origins of the word came from the Kashmir area from the Persian times, we are fortunate that many other locations are now producing cashmere. One in particular is in Inner Mongolia, northern China. This area is the biggest producer of cashmere goats in the wool. Vary the pressure when working with color to give the sketch shadows and highlights. Never mind coloring outside the lines, because neatness in drawing doesn count much compared with the tangible creation that results from the idea. Some designers even purposefully color outside the outline, making the sketch more artistic and abstract. Many films of the 1940s centered on the trials and tribulations of the brave men and women fighting for freedom in Europe and the Pacific. In order to express its support for the hardships and rations endured during the War by regular citizens, Hollywood created simple and subdued costumes during this period. Women dressed in simple suits or slacks with sensible shoes. Batman Forever Return of Swamp Thing (Truly bad but I couldn make a strong enough case to call it a superhero film) Elektra Meteor Man (This film almost made my list but I left if off since it is mainly a spoof) Ghost Rider Dick Tracy And finally, I have to mention one film that was excluded that perhaps deserves the number one spot and that the 1994 Fantastic Four film that was never released theatrically or on video although it been heavily bootlegged. Intending it to be a $40 big budget film, the producer, Neu Constantin was about to lose his rights to the film and had to produce something. He hired director Roger Corman to make the film but not for $40 million. Matchy Matchy doesn't always work in the fashion world because sometimes you have to mix and match your outfits along with a little color. With the rules of wearing white after labor day doesn't really apply anymore. In fashion, you'll need to take certain risks without being afraid to strut your stuff in those outfits that you own. Are you one of those people that know exactly what you want but you have trouble finding it. Try looking for it on Ebay. You will be shocked to find exactly what you are looking for in a very reasonable price. Should petite women buy, tweak, or skip the animal influences trend for fall/winter 2010/2011? I say tweak on this fall fashion trend. Furs, whether real or faux, tend to be quite bulky, so petite women should wear them with care. For example, a fur lined hood may work better than a full length fur coat.

The overall concept of the All-New HR-V came about after receiving feedback from customers that were looking for an affordable SUV that encompasses a sense of security and status while boasting high usability. This vehicle achieves all these by combining the toughness of a SUV, the personal feel of a Coupe and the utility of a Minivan.

The All-New HR-V has been making headlines in every country where it was launched and is currently the best-selling Compact SUV in Japan. In Thailand and Indonesia, the All-New HR-V has received overwhelming response and bookings.

Honda Malaysia President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Roslan Abdullah said, “In Malaysia, the SUV segment has shown significant growth over the years. Back in 2010, the SUV segment was 18,000 units. In just 5 years, it has grown by 74% to over 31,000 units with a 4.7% market share. Seeing the huge opportunity, Honda Malaysia continues to keep their commitment to excite the market with value for money and attractive products at affordable prices. Three variants of the All-New HR-V, namely the S, E and V were introduced at the price tags of RM99,800, RM108,800 and RM118,800 respectively to meet the needs of the market.

2015 Porsche Cayman GT4 Unveiled

The new member of the Porsche GT family is the Cayman GT4. This is the first time Porsche is introducing a GT sports car based on the Cayman which has components of the 911 GT3. A lap time of 7 minutes and 40 seconds on the North Loop of the Nürburgring positions the Cayman GT4 as the new benchmark at the top of its market segment. It also makes a clear statement that Porsche will continue to promote radical two-door sports cars in the future – sports cars that are developed at the Motorsport department in Weissach.

2015 Porsche Cayman GT4

The engine, chassis, brakes and aerodynamic design of the Cayman GT4 are configured for maximum driving dynamics; yet the top model still retains the versatility and everyday utility that are typical of the two-seat Porsche coupe. It is powered by a 3.8-litre flat-six engine with 385 hp (283 kW), which is derived from the 911 Carrera S engine. Its power is always transmitted by a six-speed manual gearbox with dynamic gearbox mounts. The Cayman GT4 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds; its top speed is 295 km/h. The car’s NEDC fuel consumption is 10.3 l/100 km. The chassis – which features a 30 mm lower body position and a generously sized brake system – consists nearly entirely of components from the 911 GT3.

On its exterior, the Cayman GT4 is clearly differentiated from related mid-engine coupes. Three distinctive inlet openings at the front and a large fixed rear wing are part of an aerodynamic package which is systematically designed for downforce. Upon request, the Cayman GT4 can be equipped even more comprehensively for sporty use. Options include the PCCB ceramic brake system, full shell seats made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), a custom Sport Chrono Package with the unique Track Precision app and a Club Sport Package.

The interior of the Cayman GT4 is designed so that the driver and front passenger can experience unfiltered driving enjoyment. They sit on sport seats, upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara, which are distinguished by very good lateral support. The new GT4 sport steering wheel guarantees ideal control and direct steering feedback due to its compact dimensions.

Technical aspects of the new GT sports car are based on the 911 GT3. As a mid-engine sports car and a prime example of driving dynamics in its class – it follows the conceptual tradition of such cars as the 904 GTS, 911 GT1, Carrera GT and 918 Spyder.

GT sports cars from Porsche embody the most passionate connection possible between everyday driving and the race track and thereby the sporty core of the brand: Intelligent Performance. Four out of five drivers of Porsche sports cars with this classification also use them on the race track.

The Cayman GT4 celebrates its world premiere in early March at the Geneva International Motor Show.

Porsche Cayman GT4: Urban fuel consumption 14.8 l/100 km; extra-urban fuel consumption 7.8 l/100 km; combined fuel consumption 10.3 l/100 km; CO2 emissions 238 g/km.

Already a global success, the third-generation All-New X-Trail has won recognition and accolades around the world, most recently “Indonesia Car of the Year 2014” from Mobil Motor Magazine and Auto Bild Indonesia Magazine, and “Car of the Year 2014” award by China Mainstream Media Automobile Alliance in China.

Two variants are available for the Malaysian market; the range-topping 2.5L 4WD, and the 2.0L 2WD. Since pre-booking registrations opened in Malaysia last December, the All-New X-Trail has gathered over 1,300 bookings.

Mr. Tan Keng Meng, Director of Marketing and Product Planning in addressing the launch of the All-New X-Trail said, “We are delighted to be able to introduce the All-New X-Trail to Malaysians. The previous generation X-Trails were such icons for SUV and crossover fans here, with more than 19,000 units on the road since ETCM first launched it in 2003. The completely redesigned All-New X-Trail combines Nissan’s acclaimed 4×4 heritage with fresh ideas, premium styling and groundbreaking technologies – making it one of the most advanced Crossovers with off-roading capabilities. This innovative premium crossover is further testament to ETCM’s commitment to bringing consumers with the best that Nissan has to offer.”

The locally-assembled All-New Nissan X-trail boasts ground-breaking Active Chassis Control technology that has been adopted as world-firsts to ensure smooth, stress-free driving experience.

The Active Ride Control system moderates any pitching motion experienced by drivers on bumpy roads by controlling engine torque and brakes to improve ride comfort, while the Active Engine Brake system adjusts the amount of engine braking to assist drivers to reduce speed when cornering or stopping. Additionally, the Active Trace Control system – a ‘Nissan-first’ – automatically applies small amounts of braking to the individual wheels to reduce understeer and help the driver maintain control around corners.

The 2.5L variant is equipped with an ALL MODE INTELLIGENT 4×4 System (4×4-i), for different driving modes based on road conditions. Three modes are available; two-wheel drive, Auto Mode – which automatically changes torque distribution between front and rear wheels when driving on paved or slippery roads, and Lock Mode for permanent four-wheel drive.

A feature available in both variants, Hill Start Assist allows drivers to change pedals easily from the brake to the accelerator and carry out a safer hill start.

Additionally, Hill Descent Control – available in the 2.5L 4WD variant – controls the vehicle speed (between 4km/h -15km/h) when descending a steep or slippery hill without applying brakes, allowing drivers to focus on steering the vehicle.

The range-topping 2.5L 4WD variant is powered with the QR25DE-k2 engine with Twin CVTC, providing maximum power output of 171 PS at 6,000 rpm and 233 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The 2.0L 2WD variant comes with the MR20DD engine with direct fuel injection and Twin CVTC, capable of 144 PS at 6,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm.

Both variants come fitted with Nissan’s Next Generation Xtronic CVT with 7-speed manual mode to ensure a smoother ride and powerful driving performance; and ECO mode system for better fuel efficiency.

With a sleek and stylish design that gives it presence on the road guaranteed to turn heads, the All-New X-Trail takes on a number of Nissan signature cues such as Boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights, the distinctive ‘V’-shaped Nissan grille and Rear Combination Lamp, which are standard for both variants. Unique to the 2.5 4WD variant are first-in-class LED Headlights with auto function and LED Wing Mirror Signal Lights. Roof Rails and 17-inch alloy wheels give the new All-New X-Trail a striking and imposing appearance.

A highly refined interior is emphasised with quality soft touch materials on the instrument panel, front door and centre armrest. Touches of chrome, geometric metallic and premium piano black finishing further evoke a sense of modern elegance in its interior ambience.

A 5+2 seating configuration makes for an exceptionally spacious cabin, particularly for instances when additional seating is required for children. It also has an impressive load capacity of 1,520 litres (with second and third row seats folded flat); and 550 litres (with third row seats folded flat).

The All-New X-Trail is offered with a range of safety features that comes as standard across the range; including the Dual Front SRS airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS) with Active Brake-Limited Slip (ABLS), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist (BA)

In essence, the All-New HR-V is a perfect marriage of individuality and usability.

The All-New HR-V is a new segment in vehicle offerings and this Dynamic New Generation Compact SUV is set to be well received in Malaysia as it incorporates spaciousness, user-friendliness and functional in its features. With smart interface features and advanced technology adoptions, this new generation compact SUV is set to deliver dynamic performance that combines elegance and fun while providing top safety.

IMG_7368.JPG

Under the hood, the All-New HR-V features a 1.8L i-VTEC SOHC engine built on a new Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology that enhances both driving performance and fuel economy. The new compact and lightweight CVT features high-efficiency electric oil pump and high strength belt, which improves fuel economy and ensures smooth rapid acceleration.

Size-wise, the All-New HR-V measures 4,294 mm in length, 1,772 mm in width and 1,605 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. The wide viewing angle was secured through optimization of the width and angle of the front pillars in order to provide good visibility for the driver. With perfect eye point level, drivers have better viewpoint and a greater sense of security. Driving comfort is further enhanced with low centre of gravity. Keeping to its sporty and bold style, the car is fitted with 16” alloy wheels.

This multi-dimensional compact SUV has increased body rigidity and stability with its super high tensile steel including hot-stamped materials installed at appropriate spots. In addition, the front and rear parts of the body were effectively reinforced to realise the lightweight and highly rigid body that generates sportiness and linear driving performance. Driving pleasure is enhanced with reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH), by adopting high-performance sound absorbing and insulating materials installed in the rear area and front inner fenders, floor carpets and floor undercover.

The front face is designed to look bold and tough with unified stylish front grille that’s created under the ‘Solid Wing Face’ concept. The strong distinctive character lines on the sides fuse together the sleek cabin of a coupe and the dynamic lower body exudes toughness. Combining the character lines and rear door handles which are integrated into the side windows, the feeling of an elegant and sporty two-door coupe was created.

The interior design of the High-deck Centre Console is made possible for the first time by adopting the Electric Parking Brake, replacing the hand/foot brake. The new design allows drivers to have their own personal space without infringing into the passenger space. Along with the High-deck Centre Console, a new kind of Multi-utility Drink Holder is developed to not only hold drinks but also to store personal items.

In order to enhance the All-New HR-V’s amazing cabin space for driver and passengers, the length of the seat bottom was increased creating ample legroom, while the seatback angle was optimised for better seating posture. This provides optimum comfort and reduces strain to drivers when driving for long hours. The All-New HR-V features high quality material as fabric and soft pad were used for most occupant touch points.

Honda’s original centre-tank layout enabled the realisation of a large cargo space and minivan-like rear seats with ample elbowroom. The All-New HR-V is further supported with the Multi-utility cargo space that allows various configurations of seating. The seat dimensions are set for easy manoeuverability and can be arranged into 3 modes – Utility Mode, Tall Mode, and Long Mode. The tailgate opening is as wide as 1,180 mm while the ground height of the tailgate opening is 650 mm, one of the lowest within the class, providing convenience for easy loading and unloading.

Its smart interface features include a 7-inch Display Audio, One Touch Turn Signal and Touch Panel Air Conditioning for a smooth, at-your-fingertip operation. This innovation supports the smart drive concept that is evident in the All-New HR-V. The speedometer also features an illumination ring, which changes colour based on the driving mode to indicate economical driving.

In effort to provide enhanced protection for vehicle occupants and other road users, Honda has embraced a comprehensive approach to vehicle safety that seeks to provide a high level of active and passive occupant protection along with features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Daytime Running Light (DRL), ISOFIX and 6 Airbags (Dual Front SRS Airbags, Side Curtain Airbags and Side Airbags).

The All-New HR-V comes with the new Automatic Brake Hold feature that can be easily activated with a push of the switch. Once it’s activated, whenever the driver stops the vehicle by braking, the system automatically holds the vehicle in position without the driver stepping on the brake. This provides convenience to the driver when in a temporary stationary mode. Another new feature introduced in the All-New HR-V is the Electric Parking Brake. It is an advanced parking brake which can be operated by a switch lever. When the conditions (seatbelt and shift position) are fulfilled, the system automatically releases the parking brake with the step of the accelerator pedal.
