UMW Toyota Motor Launched The New Facelift Toyota Fortuner

UMW Toyota Motor has just launched the newly improved (or call it facelift if you like) Toyota Fortuner.  The new Fortuner is developed with the concept of “Advanced and Prestige”, the Fortuner has received improvement to freshen its image in its segment. The improved Fortuner has received upgrades in exterior with 17-inch new dark grey rims and black interior to bring more impressive and luxurious image. Not compromising on its safety features, it comes with ISOFIX, the new additional passive safety feature.

From all angles, the Fortuner has a stylish appearance with modern elements such as the wrap around rear glass panels and flush body panels. The Fortuner 17-inch rims now come with a new dark grey color finished while maintaining its twin-spoke design. This enhances the Fortuner premium look.

For interior wise, the previous sandbeige colour theme for the cabin has now been changed to black. Apart from projecting a high quality image, the black interior colour also suits SUV usage better. For a touch of class, the black combination leather upholstery of the Fortuner 2.7V variant has fine silver stitching. The driver also gets a 6-way power adjustable seat, enabling a comfortable position to be obtained without effort. The Fortuner 2.5G variants have fabric upholstery.

The dashboard, centre console and door trims also changed likewise in order to complement the new black interior color of Fortuner. For the Fortuner 2.7V, the new black dashboard is matched with the new design black woodgrain that conveys a prestigious and high-class image. In contrast, the Fortuner 2.5G with the new black dashboard is combined with silver elements to accentuate an advanced image.

For 2013, new Passive Safety is the provision of ISOFIX attachment points. Parents having small children would be pleased to know the fact that the improved Fortuner has ISOFIX anchorage points. These anchorage points provide convenient, easy and secure installation of compatible childseats at the second row.

As with all the models offered by UMW Toyota , the Toyota Fortuner range comes with a 3- year/100,000 kms (whichever occurs earlier after first registration) warranty, subject to conditions stated in the Owner’s Handbook. This reflects the confidence that UMW Toyota Motor has in the superior build quality of its vehicles, a hallmark of Toyota products.

The new improved Toyota Fortuner priced on-the-road (OTR) from RM 171,305 to RM 182,482  for Individual private registration with insurance, metallic color, Peninsular Malaysia.
