The Suzuki Swift is quite a nifty car among it’s competitors. Awhile ago we report the new generation of Suzuki Swift, which we are yet to see here soon. However among the good Swifts there’s always some turn out to be more sporty.

Pictures here show the Suzuki Swift S-Concept, automatically this will a benchmark of the new generation of Suzuki Swift Sport. This Suzuki Swift S-concept make debut during the Geneva Motor Show 2011. The Suzuki Swift S-concept is presented in a Unique Lightning Pearl Yellow with a 3 door version. The is in-line of the company’s brand philosophy of delivering excitement. The front of the S-concept has been fitted a special design head lamp and a over kitted fog lamps. Integrated with front and rear fenders the Suzuki Swift S-concept looks track ready.

From the rear it remind us of the Renault Clio RS. However the twin exhaust & with a bigger spoiler and all the special design front , rear , side parts of the car are design in a piece ( not an extra fitted bodykit) makes the hot hatch looks pretty sleek. The Swift S-Concept is fitted with huge 18″ wheels with Brembo brakes. Currently the Swift S-concept is officially spec as 6 speed gear box, front engine, front wheel drive and with a tuned 1.6 liter engine.

Inside The Suzuki Swift S-concept is fitted with a pair of yellow with Black Recaro bucket seats. The steering is leather stitched with some yellow trims. The current highest range Suzuki Swift is priced at RM112,958.00 – not a small price tag for a car like this. We do expect the new Suzuki Swift Sport to be priced more assuming it will be better looking and with better features ( also considering the Japanese Yen getting stronger). However, the Swift S-concept may be good to look at but not so practical  to hit the production line. We would expect a tune down version the Swift S-Concept to be the next generation of Suzuki Swift Sport.

This is the new Suzuki Swift 2011. Yes, it is. This is the what Suzuki create after 6 years since the last Swift was launched back in 2004. To many people, on the first glance, this could be just the same or it’s just a facelift. Even i had to play the spot the difference game when i see these photo.

The above Photo is the all new Suzuki Swift 2011, the below picture is the current Suzuki Swift. Take a moment to see the difference. The headlights shapes are slight sharper, a slight wider and deeper grille and the lower bumper has lines running from the the edge of the headlights ending with some minor changes one the foglights area too.

Underneath the similar all-new Suzuki Swift body to the old one, there’s a new platform which is wider on it’s wheel base by 50mm and the car’s length is increased by 90mm. Overall, the new Suzuki swift it’s 5mm wider and higher by 10mm which comes with a wider front of 10mm and rear track of 5mm. Suzuki officials claim that the New Swift uses a higher strengthen steel which makes the new body shell to be light and stiffer.

The interior wise is not preview as official yet but however, we manage to find a spy shot which is taken earlier this year. Looking at this view the new Suzuki Swift looks a bit slight more spacious and the panel design are greatly inspired by Suzuki Kizashi’s interior.

Besides that, it is reported that the new Swift will have new petrol engine and a improved diesel engine. There will be a 1.2 litre engine with Dual VVT which will replace the current outgoing 1.3 liter engine. The 1.2L DVVT engine procudes 94hp  ( slightly more than the current one). Fuel consumption of this new engine is also improved. While the Diesel engine remains at 1.3L and will procudes 75hp with much better emission and fuel consumption. No news on the 1.5 liter yet, but if releases 1.5L with DVVT, that will be quite interesting.

There will be a 3-door form and 5-door form of Suzuki Swift 2011. Both automatic and manual transmission are available. Suzuki Swift Sport 2011 is also in works. Attached above is the current sports model of Suzuki Swift Sport. We will get more details soon when Suzuki releases it, hopefully the all-new Suzuki Swift 2011 it’s one of those “more than meets the eye”.
