To Kia fans, or Kia Forte fans, Yes. This is the new replacement model for the current Kia Forte. The New Kia Forte was unveiled in a shopping mall, South Korea. The video below shows the sneak peak process that leads to the full unveiled replacement model for the Kia Forte. In South Korea, the Kia Forte will be name as Kia K3 in their domestic market. In some other countries it will be named as Kia Cerato Forte. In Malaysia, due of the CKD collaboration with Naza it will be named as Naza Kia Forte.

The new Kia Forte  will go on sale early next year all over the world. The 2013 Kia Forte is longer, lower and wider than the current model. The next generation of Kia Forte is designed with a new bodyshell structure. Kia has implemented and more futuristic and dynamic styling with a sleeker body line , front-rear LED lamps and some of the chrome finishes.

Kia promises to deliver a better quality, upgraded equipment, more spacious cabin, and a revised engine line-up that further improve fuel economy. The Koreans will get the New Kia Forte or Kia K3 later this year. and we shall update once with get more photos from our Korean counterpart. Kia Forte or rather Naza Kia Forte will launch a Sport edition of the Korean mid-size sedan car. This spec-up Naza Kia Forte spotted in Naza Mall in Petaling Jaya recently.

This probably as the top of the spec Naza Kia forte is tagged with a emblem as Sport Edition on the boot. The Kia Forte Sport Edition has full bodykit integrate with spiltter. Overall the bodykit reminds us of the Honda Civic Type R.

Few the recently hype of the 6-speed Kia Forte going on sale, it is said to be the pricing of this Kia Forte Sport Edition will cost an additional of an unconfirmed price within RM10,000. A huge price tag to pay over a standard Naza Kia Forte.

South Korea’s second-largest automaker Kia Motors said Friday its third-quarter net profit surged 66% from a year earlier thanks to strong sales of new models and sport utility vehicles.

Net profit for the three months to September 30 soared to 666.6 billion won, up from 402 billion won a year earlier. “The won was higher than a year earlier,” Kia’s chief financial officer Lee Jae-Rok told journalists.

“But sales were strong as new models were successfully launched and the percentage in sales of middle and large-sized cars and sport utility vehicles increased,” the Kia’s Chief added.

Operating profit surged 34.3 per cent year-on-year to 421 billion won while sales were up 26.3 per cent from a year earlier to 5.69 trillion won.

The Korean automobile manufacturer Kia has recently announceda global recall of more than 100,000 vehicles due to defective wiring. The affected models include the Kia Soul, Sorento, Mohave and Cadeza. The recall was issued because of a possible fire threat with the optional and adjustable speaker lighting system.

Kia says it is prepared and it will fit a redesigned wiring package for the speakers. Changes include a new wiring system and wiring harness.

The recall caused Kia’s co-chief executive to resign. Therefore, Kia Motors promoted the chief of its overseas operations to the company’s top executive job after his predecessor resigned following a global recall.

The new boss, Lee Hyoung-keun, will retain his current responsibilities while also overseeing domestic business, global corporate planning and production and labor-management relations, Kia spokesman Micheal Choo said Wednesday.

Lee, also known as Hank Lee will replaces Chung Sung-eun. Chung, who was VP and CEO of Kia that stepped down from his position on last Friday, said Michael Choo. Chung was one of Kia’s two CEOs.

Kia Forte by Naza is quite a success in Malaysia. With the attractive price close to Vios, City,Mazda 2 – you can have an option to get a car which is a class higher. However after interviewing many people, we found out that many Malaysians would still rather to go for the hot car maker brands. Mainly to secure a better resale value in future. However we still do see a lot of Forte on the road daily.

Kia Forte by Naza in Malaysia, comes in 3 range. The 1.6 SX ( high spec) model, the 1.6 EX (low Spec) model and the 2.0 liter  SX Model. With low demand on Kia Forte 1.6 EX, Naza decided to equipped the Forte 1.6 EX model with full bodykit and sports rim.

The Naza Kia Forte Ex sport rim is acceptable but the size it’s still on 15″

The front bumper added with a front add-on kit which resembles  the Kia Forte Koup. Mainly because of the middle part which is blackout.
