Japan’s Best Motor TV 2012, 2011, and 2009 Nissan GT-R Comparison

The Nissan GT-Rs (R35) have introduced 3 revisions since its introduction in Q4 2007. The 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 engine started out with 485ps, 530ps and now 550ps. Because of that, Japan’s Best Motor TV took all 3-revisions to the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit for a 0-400m drag battle as well as a 3-lap race.

 

 

In this post, do check out the comparisons in the video among the 2012, 2011 and 2009 Nissan GT-R. In short, the differences are magnificent after the Japanese automaker upgrades to the ECUs, chassis and aerodynamics.

 

 

2012 Nissan GT-R Speculate to Perform 0-100km/h in 2.84 Seconds

 

Based on the video that surfaced at YouTube, the revised 2012 Nissan GT-R is unofficial claimed to have 550 PS and capable to perform 0-100km/h in just 2.84 seconds with R-Mode Start activated.

 

The present face-lifted 2011 Nissan GT-R is officially delivering 530 PS @ 6,400rpm and capable to sprint to 100km/h in 3.0 seconds. For 2010, it has 485 PS @ 6,400rpm and performs 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds. Along with 3.8 seconds from the first model that introduced in 2008.

 

With its gradually performance improvement from the factory, we are excited to see the new 2012 Nissan GT-R with 550 PS.

2012 Nissan GT-R with 530hp (0-100km/h in 3 seconds)

About half a year ago, there is news stating that the 2012 Nissan GT-R will develop in excess of 500hp and 610Nm of Torque. Now, Nissan officially announced that the face-lifted GT-R will come with 530hp twin-turbo V6 which capable to deliver 0-100km/h in just 3.0 seconds. The new model is faster than the previous 485hp by 0.5 seconds in acceleration.

The testing of new 2012 Nissan GT-R were carried out at the Sendai Race Way on 12-13 November 2010 in Sunny/Cloudy weather during the media test event with average temperature of 15-19 degrees Celsius.


The company used a stock standard model including tyres and wheels without any optional parts. During the test, the car was set to R mode for the suspension and VDC-R (Vehicle Dynamic Control) system.
