The above Photo is the all new Suzuki Swift 2011, the below picture is the current Suzuki Swift. Take a moment to see the difference. The headlights shapes are slight sharper, a slight wider and deeper grille and the lower bumper has lines running from the the edge of the headlights ending with some minor changes one the foglights area too.

Underneath the similar all-new Suzuki Swift body to the old one, there’s a new platform which is wider on it’s wheel base by 50mm and the car’s length is increased by 90mm. Overall, the new Suzuki swift it’s 5mm wider and higher by 10mm which comes with a wider front of 10mm and rear track of 5mm. Suzuki officials claim that the New Swift uses a higher strengthen steel which makes the new body shell to be light and stiffer.

The interior wise is not preview as official yet but however, we manage to find a spy shot which is taken earlier this year. Looking at this view the new Suzuki Swift looks a bit slight more spacious and the panel design are greatly inspired by Suzuki Kizashi’s interior.

Besides that, it is reported that the new Swift will have new petrol engine and a improved diesel engine. There will be a 1.2 litre engine with Dual VVT which will replace the current outgoing 1.3 liter engine. The 1.2L DVVT engine procudes 94hp  ( slightly more than the current one). Fuel consumption of this new engine is also improved. While the Diesel engine remains at 1.3L and will procudes 75hp with much better emission and fuel consumption. No news on the 1.5 liter yet, but if releases 1.5L with DVVT, that will be quite interesting.

There will be a 3-door form and 5-door form of Suzuki Swift 2011. Both automatic and manual transmission are available. Suzuki Swift Sport 2011 is also in works. Attached above is the current sports model of Suzuki Swift Sport. We will get more details soon when Suzuki releases it, hopefully the all-new Suzuki Swift 2011 it’s one of those “more than meets the eye”.

Few days back an “eagle-eyed” driver in Hungary spotted the new Suzuki Swift or rather the 6th generation of Suzuki Swift on a trailer. If you are wondering why in Hungary and not Japan?  There’s a factory of Suzuki in Hungary ,Esztergom , a place which is about 60km from Budapest. The driver was able to took the rear view of the new upcoming Suzuki Swift 2011. With nothing covering the rear we can see clear the new design for this Suzuki hot hatch. Suzuki will be releasing details of the new Suzuki Swift on 10th of June 2010. Stay tuned.

Suzuki has reveal their all-new Sport Sedan. Suzuki Kizashi, pronouced as Kee-Zah-Shee”. Before we move on, on behalf of Suzuki Corp. I apologize to the world that you won’t be getting the version in the first picture on this post. instead, you’ll be getting this. The one below these text.

Suzuki a brand known for it’s bikes and it’s hot hacthes has commited to come out with a mid-size sport sedan to hopefully become a product to be as reputated as it’s bikes. They did come out with great concept for Suzuki Kizashi. In fact, there’s 3 version of Kizashi Concept that has been show in the motor shows. The one picture in the first post was in fact Suzuki Kizashi Concept 3 – the last concept before the spyshots and the production models. Two more concept version as below.

With these photos, i believe most of you will feel the same as me. Suzuki Corp. has build 3 superbly good-looking modern concept cars. How did it up like the production model ? Our guess is probably, after the 3rd concept comes out, the suzki director comes in to the meeting and say, ” we can’t produce these concept models, it’s too hard to be produce and parts are expensive. The market wouldn’t pay so much for a Suzuki”. When the finance part comes into the design, and this came out -

A Japanese Version of Passat renamed to Suzuki Kizashi.

At some point the Suzuki Kizashi also reminds, me of a Suzuki SX4 Sedan.

True fact is, i’m quite disappointed with the production model because i personally has been following news for the Suzuki Kizashi since the 1st concept. I thought it will be a strong competitor with car such as Toyota Mark X. However after browing about 100+ photos in our gallery of the Suzuki Kizashi, at certain angle the car actually looks not bad.

Looking at the photo just above, we can tell that it will be a competitor of Toyota Camry, Honda Acccord, Mazda 6 and others. The production models of Suzuki Kizashi will be out at the showrooms end of the year and only in America. It will be powered by a all-new Suzuki engine which is 2.4 litre. Suzuki Corp. has not annouce the output figures of this new engine, however did reveal that there will be a hybrid version of the Kizashi later on. Like the Zoom-zoom guys, Suzuki wants to offer their drivers “exhilarating driving experience”. Thus, this new platform features MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link setup in the rear.

As for the transmission Suzuki has indicated there will be a 6-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) gearbox similarly found in Nissan Slyphy or Latio. The new sport sedan is offered with Suzuki’s next generation i-AWD (All wheel drive) system, drivers can activate the “AWD” switch in the instrument panel and the rear will immediately starts acceleration.Providing a rare option in its class, these features enhances safety and performance found in order luxury sport sedan.

The current version of Suzuki Swift definately has made it’s name in the Rally world. Front wheel drive with superb handling in his class. These picture shows that the new Suzuki Swift is set to be out to the market by year 2010 or 2011. The suzuki swift looks slightly bigger as compare to the current model. The model, despite the heavy camouflage, we still can see the new swift retain it’s roundish front end and short rear overhang.

The New Suzuki Swift is said to make its official appearance at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Like the current model, the new Suzuki Swift will be front-wheel-drive. With engines delivering between 90 and 130 hp, the new car should be a good fun city driving daily car. Judging by the above photo, the rear lights seems to be more aggresive/sport looking design.
