The next generation of Mazda 3 front is expected to look very much like its siblings (Mazda 6, Mazda CX-5). As we can see there will be a prominent black grille and angled headlights to replace the current model’s smiley face look with a more serious look.

The interior of the Mazda 3 share some design of the Mazda 6,CX5. However we also notice some similarity from  Mercedes-Benz A-Class and the BMW 2-series. The top of the dashboard is fitted with fairly large screen likely for entertainment and navigation system. The center console with hand brake area also features 2 dials ( one bigger and one smaller) likely to use to control the in car entertainment / navigation system. Overall, the new interior looks more premium than its competition in the segment (Example, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis and etc).

The next generation of Mazda 3 will feature all the Skyactiv technology from Mazda as well as we do expect i-Stop and i-Eloop system to be fitted into certain models.

The all-new Atenza is Mazda’s flagship model and adopts the company’s new-generation SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and new design theme, KODO – Soul of Motion. All model grades are equipped with the full range of SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY in order to provide powerful and refined driving with a comfortable and high quality ride. The all-new Atenza also incorporates i-ACTIVSENSE, a series of advanced safety technologies designed to support safe driving. Using cameras and millimeter-wave radars to detect obstacles, i-ACTIVSENSE includes systems which automatically apply the brakes in an emergency, sound an alarm if the vehicle drifts out of its lane, and prevent the car from taking off if the driver mistakenly steps on the accelerator instead of the brake. The all-new Atenza offers an ideal driving environment. The driver’s field of vision has been widened by moving the A-pillar rearward and positioning the tire house farther forward has allowed a natural pedal layout with no offset. Mazda 3 2014 Rendering

001-2014-mazda3-rendering1

It is expected the all new Mazda 3 will be revealed next year. Other than some rendering and imagination done by some Photoshop artist with some new Mazda 6 parts or CX-5 design based on the Mazda’s new Kodo design, these are few shots of possible design proposal by Mazda for the next generation Mazda 3 leaked online. However, these images it’s a very good indication of how the next generation of Mazda 3 could look like.

004-2014-mazda3-rendering1

Whether these images will be transform into reality or not, the 2014 Mazda 3 design here are much more interesting than the current generation. The sedan rendered 2014 Mazda 3 shows the sleek and sporty roofline like the new Mazda 6 sedan while the 5-door hatchback has a more sloped rear giving it the family design like CX-5 and Mazda 2. Mazda personnel was later contacted for comments about these images, however they refuse to comment any future products as speculated. Anyways, we are quite fond with these design for the next generation of Mazda 3 revealing in next year!
