New Honda Freed S, Only for RM99,800

Nowadays, Honda Malaysia is offering more affordable and superior package to Malaysian just like the latest Honda City Facelift with 5 year warranty. Today, Honda has just introduced a new Honda Freed variant. The Honda Freed S spec will be just sold under 100k, marking the on-the-road price of RM99,800. The Honda Freed S is a fully imported from Indonesia. While the Honda Freed E spec is selling at RM113,493.50 on-the-road price, there will be some features that it’s different from the Honda Freed S.

For example, the automatic sliding door in the Honda Freed E has been replaced with manual sliding door on the Honda Freed S. The Alphine DVD player has been removed from the Freed S. The rear spoiler has also been removed to justify the cost. Others items are just minor differences. The Honda Freed S comes with the same 5-speed auto transmission powered by the same 1.5L i-VTEC engine that produces 118ps of max output at 6600 rpm.

Honda did not compromise the safety features in the Honda Freed Grade S. The features like Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electrical Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) are still included for the Honda Freed S. The Honda Freed S is available in Brilliant White Pearl, Polished Metal Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl. With the introduction of Honda Freed S, we think it’s a worthy buy as the features can be compromise and the price differences when comparing to the more expensive Honda Freed E spec is about RM13,000.

The recall, classified as fire risk that could potentially cause those Cruze powered by 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine over a potential engine bay fire.  Again, we would like to stress on the point that this recall ONLY affects the Chevrolet Cruze 1.4L Turbo model.

While we went around to scout for some materials about this issue, we found this. The below video is believed has been recorded in the United States. The Chevrolet Cruze 1.4L turbo was burning in the streets and when the firemen arrived to attempt to put down the fire, there’s was an explosion.
