Peugeot has officially released a teaser of it's all new coupe - the Peugeot 308 RC Z. It is expected to be on sale somewhere around 1st half of 2010. Like the it's original model 308. It's engine it's borrow from the BMW family. It is rumoured to be powered by the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder borrowed from Mini's John Cooper Works which produces 211hp. However, other sources also mention that the engine could be the same one found in the Mini Cooper S. Like the Coopers, the Peugot 308 RC Z is expected to be a front-wheel drive configuration.

Many claims the Peugeot 308's interior feels like the Audi interior. But do you know which Audi is that ? It is the Audi TT. The Peugeot 308 RC Z has been said that it's design is too heavily influenced by Audi TT. Now with the more refinement of the interior from the original Peugeot 308 to the Peugeot 308 RC Z's interior and also the RC Z coupe shape which looks like the Audi's TT. We soon will have a new kid in town to compete with Audi TT.

Peugeot reveal photos of its face lifted 207 for 2010. The 207 will be in three body shapes, three and five door hatchback, Station Wagon and the hardtop convertible. All variants of the 207 feature a redesigned front end with a new grille, as well as LED tail lamps.

The introduction of the facelift model 207 also sees a range of new standard equipment like a head unit with Bluetooth connectivity. Peugeot also spiffed up the interior with fresh trims, new instrument panel designs and the introduction of other new equipment features.

Furthermore, Peugeot claims that the 207's range will be gradually updated with the introduction of engines meeting the Euro5 emission standard. Prices and full details will be revealing at their showrooms this August in Europe.

For the Malaysia market, I have no clue when the 207 will be introducing locally since the 206 Bestari are still suffering on poor sales results by Naza. We visited a peugeot showroom awhile ago and the peugeot sales man indicated that there's rumours to have Peugeot 206+ coming soon. In the other hand, the Peugeot 308 are doing pretty well in Malaysia as I think the car priced just right.

On end-July onwards, the fresh and hot Peugeot 308 Turbo with Panaromic Roof is made available with only RM113,888 OTR with Road Tax and Insurance. The Peugeot 308 Turbo now comes with a full-length panoramic glass roof. Previously, the Turbo variants doesn't come with the panoramic roof when initially launched. The rest on technical, there is no change.

The roof uses a material called as Athermic glass which you get the sunlight without most of the heat. Furthermore, there's an electric sun-blind which allow to further cover from the sunlight.
